Most people you see in the airport are those who are traveling for pleasure and among them are the business travelers who are there for a different reason. Vacation travelers are often those who have saved for a long time to be able to book that flight to take them to their dream destination. They have imagined themselves on that warm sand beach or taking that tour of the Colosseum or maybe they are taking their whole family to Disney World.

Business travelers can sometimes have an extra day or two at their destination where they are able to see the sites and experience the culture before heading home. Some might even have their family join them and this way they all vacation together. Because each traveler has their own likes and dislikes, those who want to party the night away will choose a destination that offers that. The island of Ibiza is one such location known for its party atmosphere and if you enjoy this way of life, then your trip to Ibiza will be next on your travel list.

If you seek weather that offers generally seventy degrees at night and eighty during the day year round, then you will certainly enjoy a visit to Waikiki. This beach town on the island of Oahu is a popular choice for tourist from all over the world. You can rent a car and drive to the north shore in the winter months to marvel at the world famous waves that hit that part of the island or shop to your hearts delight in Waikiki or make reservation for a cultural experience of a Hawaiian luau.

No matter where in the world your business or pleasure travel takes you, you are sure to take home amazing memories of what you saw, what you did, what you ate and what the locals talked to you about when you were there.

ALL ABOARD: DURING YOU CRUISE
A night of karaoke: the highlight of our trip to the ship’s Crow’s Nest nightclub was “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”; The Explorations Cafe: once you’ve sat drinking espresso in this fantastic on-board coffee house-cumlibrary, you’ll never be able to go back to the local café or your Venice apartment in your country; Star gazing: the night sky over Alaska is incredible. Take a turn on the deck after dinner and dance under the stars in your finery.

Booking a cruise
For 2006 Holland America Line will have seven ships based in Alaska for the summer season (May to September), each departing once a week on seven-night Alaskan cruises. The team took the Glacier Bay Inside Passage cruise, which visits gold-rush towns, fishing settlements and Glacier Bay National Park.
Lazy Days
Take time to look at some of the most breathtaking views in the world by spending a whole afternoon on deck and try not to think about your New York bed and breakfast. A crew member will usher you to a wooden deckchair, cover you with a rug and bring you hot chocolate. 140eifa. Afterwards you can retire to your warm cabin to watch DVDs on your flat-screen TV.

Don’t board without…
…remembering to pack for all sorts of weather. The team started off wrapping up warmly while gazing at glaciers, but were sunning themselves poolside two days later.
Full Steam Ahead
Once you’ve found your sea legs, take advantage of the wide variety of activities available on board your Holland America Line ship. Why not have a game of tennis on deck (the court has a netted roof to ensure balls stay on board no matter how bad your serve), or hire a personal trainer for an hour’s session in the fully equipped gym.

Sea fare
As well as 24-hour room service, Holland America Line ships offer a number of restaurants with menus ranging from haute cuisine to casual dining. If you fancy brushing up your own cooking skills, try the innovative Culinary Arts Center program, which offers lectures, demonstrations and classes with world experts.
